From the Royal British Legion Organiser:
Hi Neil
Just a note to say a very big thankyou to you and the LOMVC. I loved the way they presented themselves into the church and from that the rest of the evening was such a success. Unfortunately we didn’t sell the tickets we would have liked to have done but with their very generous donation of the hard earned piano push money I am pleased to tell you that we were able to add £525 to the Poppy Appeal.
From two loyal supporters:
We really enjoyed last night’s concert. The first soloist was very entertaining. The second was not to our taste. The Choir is getting better and better each time we hear it. Last night we felt that they enjoyed themselves. The rendering of ‘Finlandia’ really pulled at the heart strings.
Thank you for a wonderful night out.
From one of our sponsors:
Just to say yet another delightful concert by LOMVC, I particularly enjoyed Steal Away and Siyahambe.
From our Accompanist:
Hi Neil…………….I thought that the choir performed the new songs particularly successfully, especially Nimrod, and I thoroughly enjoyed Elliott, the talented young pianist/singer, in the first half.
I only wish that he had performed another couple of songs as I could quite happily have sat and listened to him for a good deal longer!
From our President, David Amess MP
Dear Neil
Many, many congratulations on Saturday’s wonderful concert which I thought was a most poignant way of honouring all those who lost their lives in conflict.
The choir was as ever, superb and I particularly enjoyed the solo artist.
