It is usual for the choir to charge a small fee for performing a concert, but that is a small expense compared to the amount that can be potentially be raised from the concert itself. The choir is usually generous if the concert is for charity. To keep costs down, for charity concerts we invite the charity to undertake the venue booking and management, the publicity and ticketing. However, we are happy to take an allocation of tickets and sell them on the organiser’s behalf. The income from tickets we sell often covers our fee.
We are willing to discuss additional services we can provide that you might find helpful. For example, our Front of House team will manage the audience if you so wish. We can arrange soloists (at an extra cost) if required.

Please note that LOMVC is a very large choir – we usually have about 80 choristers performing. Our performances and concerts are generally in halls and auditoria. We will be pleased to discuss supporting and appearing at Corporate Events but we are unlikely to be able to sing at weddings, civil ceremonies or funerals.
