Here is the text of Martin’s announcement to the choir last Friday:
This year’s AGM will be held at the SA Temple on Friday 26th May, 2017.
Any nominations for Officers need to be proposed and seconded to the Secretary no later than Friday 19th May, 2017.
Any resolutions for discussion need to be proposed and seconded to the Secretary no later than Friday 12th May, 2017.
AGM
The following positions require nomination and seconding at the 2017 AGM:
Chairman
Vice Chairman
Treasurer
Secretary
Concert Manager
Publicity Officer
Membership Secretary
In order to comply with the Constitution it will be necessary at the AGM to seek the members approval to the continuance of the following Choir Officers who are not Committee members:
President
Vice President
Choir Marshall
Librarian
Offices that will be become vacant at the AGM are:
Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Publicity Officer, and Membership Secretary.
The incumbents of the other offices (Secretary and Concert Manager) are willing to continue in post. However all positions are open to nomination.
